The Town of Billerica Engineering Division announces that construction of the Yankee Doodle Bike Path Project is tentatively scheduled to begin on Friday, May 1, pending completion of pre-construction meeting requirements.
The contractor, Barletta Heavy Division, expects to mobilize on May 1 – beginning installation of construction access points. Initial work may include site preparation, equipment mobilization, and other early-stage construction activities.
The Department of Public Works will post schedule updates as they become available following the start of construction. Residents are encouraged to visit the DPW Projects webpage for the latest information.
