❄️ SNOW EMERGENCY DECLARED IN BILLERICA ❄️
Due to inclement weather—specifically blizzard conditions expected to last throughout the day on Monday, February 23—the Town Hall, Library, and Council on Aging will be closed.
In accordance with the Governor’s State of Emergency declaration, we urge you all to stay safe, remain off the roads, and allow public works and public safety personnel to perform their duties.
The Town Manager’s office has declared a Snow Emergency beginning at 8:00 PM on Sunday, February 22nd.
🚫 Parking is prohibited on all public ways during the snow emergency. Please stay home if you can to allow for plows and emergency vehicles to operate safely.
🏀 Please remove basketball hoops, trash barrels and any similar items from roadways and sidewalks.
🗑️ Waste Management Update: Trash and recycling pickup will be delayed one day, and there will be no trash or recycling pickup on Monday.
The Select Board meeting scheduled for Monday evening at 6:00 PM will be held virtually. If you were planning to attend, please join online. A link to the meeting is available on the Town website with the posted agenda.
