Roadway Management

Update – 6/23/25  – Monday, June 23rd and Tuesday, June 24th at 8pm, our contractor, PJ Albert, will be line striping Lexington Road, Manning Road, Floyd Street, George Brown Street, Andover Road and Water Street. The roads will be open to through traffic with minor delays. Residents will have access to driveways at all times. Please refrain from using your sprinkler system.

Update – 5/27/25 –  Wednesday, May 28th, our contractor, PJ Albert, will be paving Lexington Road from Boston Road to Schoolhouse Lane. The road will be closed to through traffic during the time of the paving. Detours will be in place and detail officers will be on site to redirect traffic as needed. Residents will have access to driveways at all times with the exception of minor delays. Please refrain from using your sprinkler system

Update – 4/23/25 – Thursday, April 24th and Friday, April 25th, our contractor will be Milling George Brown Street from Harjean Road to Whipple Road, Andover Road from Newport Drive to Whipple Road, and Floyd Street from Boston Road to the Marshall Middle School Entrance. Work hours will be from 7am to 5pm. The residents can access the road at any time, with the exception of minor delays. Police details will be on hand to assist with traffic direction.

Work hours will be from 7am to 5pm.  The residents can access the road at any time, with the exception of minor delays. Police details will be on hand to assist with traffic direction.

Work hours will be from 7am to 5pm. The residents can access the road at any time, with the exception of minor delays. Police details will be on hand to assist with traffic direction.

Update  – 3/21/25  –  Saturday, March 22, 2025, the Town’s Highway Department will be replacing a drainpipe across Middlesex Turnpike at the intersection of Middlesex Turnpike, Water Street, and Lake Street. The intersection will be closed throughout the duration of the work. Detours will be in place to redirect traffic and police details will be on site to assist as needed. Access to homes in the area will remain available throughout the duration of the work.
